: : I am so frustrated with this BS. I just upgraded to full : : T-28's and when I did we replaced everything, and I mean : : every-fucking-thing, related to the turbos. Oil lines, water : : lines, nuts, washers, bolts, hoses.......all of it. Now : : I think my Z is fucking slower that it was with the stock : : turbos. WTF??? One of the MAJOR problems is that the : : majority of the time when I punch it, it just chokes. Whats : : really weird is that if I feather the gas, like give it : : just a little, once it gets into the turbos it will pull. : : It's just getting there thats the problem. I just dont get : : it......we did everything "right". Replaced the EFI harness, : : replaced plugs(colder), replaced all the seals/gaskets we : : could get our hands on, cleaned everything, all by the book. : : I also ported my exhaust manifolds and installed 555's. I : : guess my fuel system needs attention.....sound reasonable? : : Any thoughts/ideas...... : : TIA: : Incidently, just to add insult to injury I got smoked on the : : freeway by a 5.0. I should have owned his ass on the open : : freeway *sniff* : any signs of black smoke at wide open throttle? It seems like it's getting choked with too much fuel, or the fuel/spark timing isn't quite in sync. it could also be the spark isn't good enough (gapped too much?)
